Johnny Depp lookalike is guest at special party for New Directions user in Rugby

He met devoted Depp fan and birthday girl Janet Winstanley at the party.

Carmelo, who was a stand-in for the last two Pirates of the Caribbean films, entertained Janet and her friends at Rugby Workers’ Club in Oliver Street.

Janet attends New Directions (Rugby) Ltd four days a week at Community Choices Network at The Exchange, Rugby and has been part of their larger family for 18 months.

New Directions offers a wide range of services for people with physical and learning disabilities age 16 and over, their carers and families.

Her sister/carer Susan Windows would like to commend all their hard work and commitment and positive changes in her sister’s life since joining them.

Janet also attends Gateway Club, a social group on a Friday evening 7pm at Hamilton House, run by Phil Bianco MBE. Phil himself has worked with people with physical/learning disabilities for 39 years.

Her sister Susan, said: “She has a very busy social life and is enjoying her life to the full thanks to all the commitment of all these very special people.”
