Tomorrow (Friday) is the deadline day for you to nominate your company and staff for this year’s Rugby Business Excellence Awards and let the town know about your success.

The Rugby Advertiser is holding the ceremony at Dunchurch Park Hotel on Friday July 4, and it promises to be an evening to remember. Sponsored by Cemex, the awards will recognise all that is excellent in our business community.

We’re still keen to hear from companies who might want to enter our Green Company of the Year and Community Investment categories.

For the Green Company of the Year, we are looking for someone who supports environmental initiatives. Maybe your business is a particularly good recycler, or you have adopted energy saving measures, or reduced the amount of waste you produce. Whatever it may be, if your business is helping the planet then we want to hear from you.

For the Community Investment award we are looking for a company that can demonstrate success in ‘giving back to the local community’ including financial investment, fundraising activities, mentoring and steps taken to ensure the employee base reflects the local community.

There are 11 award categories in total (see below right) and to find out more about all of them and the judging criteria, visit our website and click on the ‘Business Excellence Awards’ tab near the top of the page.

The awards are free to enter and open to businesses of all sizes. The deadline for entries is Friday May 30. Tickets for the black tie event will cost £50 plus VAT and includes drinks reception, three-course meal with wine and entertainment.

Visit www2.rugbyreviewtoday.co.uk/advertiserRBEA2014 or call Gillian Politis on (01536) 356902 for more details.

If your company would like to sponsor any of the available categories, please contact Gillian on the same number.
