McDonald’s to take over former Little Chef off A45 in Dunchurch creating 65 new jobs

A new McDonald’s on the outskirts of Rugby is set to create around 65 new jobs.

McDonald’s has confirmed that it is taking over the former Little Chef restaurant, just off the A45 outside Dunchurch.

McDonald’s said the restaurant is a ‘significant investment locally’, which the creation of around 65 new jobs.

It will feature a side by side drive thru to serve two cars at once, have 85 internal seats for customers, and some of the external patio furniture has been recycled from McDonald’s Olympic Park restaurants.

The target opening for the restaurant is Spring 2014.

McDonald’s Operations Manager, Leah Boothe, said: “We are delighted to be opening a new restaurant in Dunchurch. The new restaurant represents a significant investment, which will bring over 65 new full and part time jobs to the local area.”
