A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a car near Rugby.

The crash happened at around 11.15pm last night (Monday) on Easenhall Road, Harborough Magna.

A rapid response vehicle, an ambulance and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival, ambulance staff found a car with front end damage and a badly damaged motorcycle.

“Unfortunately, it immediately became apparent that there was nothing that they could do to help the motorcyclist and he was confirmed dead at the scene.

“There were three people in the car; a man, a woman and a child. Thankfully all three were uninjured. They were checked over at the scene but did not require any treatment.”
