A Hungry Horse pub and restaurant is one of the new retailers coming to land next to Junction 1 retail park in the spring, it’s been announced.

The pub will be situated on St. Modwen’s new multi-million pound urban community on the A426 Leicester Road next to Junction 1 Retail Park.

Byron Thomas, who is on the pub’s new openings team said, “We are very excited about this addition to Hungry Horse and to be bringing our fun, great value and family friendly offering to Rugby.

“It will be our second Hungry Horse pub in Rugby alongside our existing pub The Old Royal Oak on Crick Road in Hillmorton.

“This development will also enable us to provide career opportunities for people in the local community with the creation of around 50 full and part-time jobs.”

He added: “Building work is well underway and we are inviting local residents to help the company choose a suitable locally-themed name for the new pub and restaurant.

“We want to ensure our name reflects the local area and has been chosen by its future customers.”

To suggest a name for the pub please email in your suggestion along with why you chose the name and your details to 1760@greeneking.co.uk.
