Some 177 people enjoyed a Sunday run - or stroll - to raise money for charity as part of a national campaign.
They each took part in the Sport Relief Mile at the Diamond Jubilee leisure centre in Bruce Williams Way. A range of courses was available, including longer routes into the town. The exertions continued later into the day, with 146 trying various sports and activities at the centre, thanks to ‘taster’ sessions that had been laid on for the day.
Organiser Georgia Barrett said: “Everyone got around, there was a great turnout and the weather held out, which was quite a relief.”
Among those in attendance was Rugby Mayor Cllr Tony Gillias.
