Police confirm name of cyclist of who died in Wolvey

Police have now released the name of the cyclist who died after being found collapsed at the side of the road in Wolvey on Saturday.

Graham Martin, 75, a retired GP, was found collapsed with his bike at 4.45pm on Saturday.

He had been cycling along the B4109 Bulkington Road, from Bulkington towards the village of Wolvey where he lived.

He was taken by air ambulance to the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire but sadly died on Monday morning.

Police would like to hear from anyone who travelled along the B4109 Bulkington Road between 4pm – 4.45pm on Saturday and who may have seen Dr Martin on his bicycle.

He was wearing a red and black cycling helmet, dark jacket and brown trousers and his light coloured cycle had twin black panniers on the rear.
