A Rugby law firm has left its home of 160 years and moved to a new energy-efficient office in the town.
More than 100 members of Brethertons Solicitors’ staff have moved from Church Street to Montague House in Clifton Road.
The purpose-built office was designed by Rugby-based HB Architects.
Richard Pell, Brethertons senior partner, said: “It was the right time to make this significant investment into the long term future of the firm. The decision to move has been made for the benefit of staff, colleagues and above all else, for the benefit of our clients and our local community.
“The new offices allow us to accommodate more staff, including specialist commercial and private client departments, but still keep us at the heart of the Rugby community. We are very excited to be progressing
into this new era and look forward to welcoming new and existing clients to our new home.
“Our focus continues to be the delivery of an excellent level of service to each of our clients and our new home allows us to do that by offering an accessible and friendly location right in the heart of the town.”
The firm recently appointed Shaun Jardine as its new CEO.
Mr Jardine said: “I am delighted that the partners have given me the opportunity to lead the firm within this exciting new CEO role, and extremely excited about the possibilities that lie within our future here at Brethertons.
“Our established experience in delivering excellence in legal services coupled with our innovative approach and our strong client-centric ethos, positions us well to act upon the opportunities during this time of dynamic change within the legal industry.
“I look forward to working with our entire Brethertons team, who I firmly believe have great ideas and hold the key to our future success.”
