Eastlands Primary School in Rugby has won a competition to improve internet safety for children.
The European Award for ‘Best Content for Kids’ is organised by the Insafe network within the European Commission’s Safer Internet Programme.
Headteacher Jo Corrigan said: “We continue to be very proud of our children as a result of the positive feedback received in relation to their film The Anti–Social Network which raises awareness of cyberbullying. The children are positive role models for our school and I am pleased they have finally won an award which recognises the positive impact this film can have on children, young people and adults across the world.”
They go on to the next stage of the competition in 2014.
