Shadow Games Ltd in Rugby is hosting a day of free board games as part of International Table Top Day tomorrow (Saturday).

The event will take place at 66 Church Street between 10.30am and 5.30pm and is suitable for all ages and levels of gamers, from board game novices to veterans. No booking required - just turn up.

On the day you will be able to enjoy a range of the latest and classic board, card and miniature games being played, as well as a range of quick demonstration games that you can take part in.

There will also be plenty of freebies so make sure you don’t miss out on what promises to be a fun day for all!

Hamish Liston, Director of Shadow Games Ltd, said: “We are really excited about the event as we believe it is very important to not only keep the current gaming community enthusiastic but also welcome new faces and share the enjoyment that many of us get by taking part in this hobby. Any store can apply to host International Table Top Day but we are one of the lucky few to be able to get one of the table top day kits allowing us to give out freebies and demonstrate a range of different games.”

Hamish continued: “We have been open almost a year and Rugby town centre is proving to be a great location for the business and our customers. Rugby is one of the fastest growing towns in the midlands and there were a wide range of table top gamers looking for a store. I have been delighted with the support we have received from Rugby First, especially in terms of this event. They have helped with promotion by printing posters, plugging it on their social network sites, and with general advice and contacts.”

Aftab Gaffar, Rugby First Managing Director says: “We are always keen to help businesses where we can in a variety of areas. The event looks as though it is going to be a lot of fun and I would encourage people to support it.”
