Planning is well underway for this year’s Spring Fair which will be returning to Whitehall Rec.
The annual Spring Fair - which attracts thousands of visitors each year - will return on Bank Holiday Monday May 5.
Organisers have said the event will be ‘returning to the home of Spring Fair’ this year as it moves back to Whitehall Recreation Ground.
There will be the usual attractions including stalls, fun fair rides, display areas and arena entertainment.
The Rugby Spring Fair has been one of the largest social events held annually in the town for the last 36 years, with regular attendances of up to 10,000 people of all ages.
In 2012 the event was held at Caldecott Park, before moving to Oakfield Recreation Ground last year while Whitehall Rec was unavailable due to building work on the town’s new leisure centre.
Now that the leisure centre is open the fair can now move back to Whitehall Rec.
Gates will open to the public at 11.30am and the event will close at 5pm.
