Police are appealing for witnesses

Burglars have been targeting garden sheds and garages in Rugby, stealing an array of belongings.

Thieves entered a garage and an outbuilding at a home in Longrood Road, Rugby overnight between Wednesday June 11 and Thursday June 12. They stole a black Diamond Head mountain bike.

The same night, burglars forced open the door of a shed in the rear garden of another home in Longrood Road and entered the premises to steal a Bosch hedge clipper and several hand tools.

At some point before 2.45pm on Wednesday June 11, thieves broke into a brick shed in the rear garden of a home in Eliot Court, Rugby. A computer tower and a screen were stolen from inside.

Various houses have also been burgles in recent weeks. In one case, between 10am and 7pm on Tuesday June 3, thieves entered a home in Newland Street, Rugby through a ground-floor window and stole a notebook computer and a laptop computer from inside.

And at some point before 2pm on Thursday June 5, offenders entered a room in a shared house in Murray Road and stole a laptop computer.
