Sheds and garages in Rugby have been targeted by criminals in various incidents this week.

During the night of Monday into Tuesday, intruders cut the padlock off a secure garage door at home in Norton Leys and then entered the premises. Once inside, the burglars carried out a search but nothing was stolen.

At some point before 9.20pm on Tuesday, offenders tampered with the doors of a shed in the back garden of a home in Bawnmore Road. Five people in their late teens to early 20s were seen in the garden and also seen walking along an alley way and trying to open car doors.

And between 6.20pm and 7.10pm on Tuesday, a witness saw four males taking a set of golf clubs from the garage of a home in Barrington Road. The garage was closed but not secured and it is believed that the thieves had spotted the clubs earlier in the day, when the garage had been open.

Anyone with information that may be connected to either of these incidents should call the police on 101.
