Avon Valley School students put on a haunting performance of Phantom of the Opera last week.
It’s been two years since the whole school took part in a production. In 2012, Les Miserables astounded audiences with the maturity and talent of its young performers – all students aged between 11 and 15 - and this time was no different.
Elisa Wheatley, director of the show, said: “We had such a strong cast. The demands on our students have been very high, but they have worked extremely hard, developed so much as individuals and performers.”
She said the performing arts did much to instil confidence.
