Any witnesses should call the police on 101

A number of burglaries and thefts from cars have been reported in Rugby in the past few days.

Before 9.10pm on Tuesday May 24, burglars entered a home in Wood Street and stole a laptop computer, a Nintendo Wii and several bank cards.

Between 4pm and 5.10pm on Tuesday May 27, offenders forced open the back kitchen door of a home in Lindale and carried out what the police call an “untidy search” before making off with a quantity of dog food.

During the night of Tuesday May 27 into Wednesday May 28, criminals broke into a VW vehicle parked in Kew Road and stole a gents’ brown zipped jacket and five golf clubs from the boot.

On the same night, offenders smashed a rear window of a Ford vehicle parked in Holbrook Avenue and stole several DVDs and CDs from the glovebox.

Again on the same night, a Ford vehicle parked outside a home in Kimberley Road was broken into and a mobile phone taken from inside.

During the night of Friday May 30 into Saturday May 31, offenders entered a vehicle parked in Pembrey Road and stole a sat nav, a pair of sunglasses, a vehicle manual and an ID badge.

Also that night, offenders entered a vehicle parked in Howkins Road and stole items including a CD/radio amp, a sat nav, and a black leather wallet containing bank cards.

Between 3 and 3.45pm on Sunday, thieves entered an unsecured vehicle parked outside a home in Newbold Road and stole a laptop computer from under the front seat.

And during the night of Sunday into Monday, offenders broke into a vehicle parked in Oxford Street and stole a necklace, a sat nav and items of paperwork.
