The body found near to the James Street and Albert Street junction in Rugby yesterday has been identified as a 39 year old local woman, but police have not released her name.
A post mortem examination carried out yesterday was inconclusive and police are now waiting for the results of toxicology tests. A woman was arrested yesterday in connection with the incident and is still in custody where she will be questioned later today.
The body was discovered by a member of the public near the junction of James Street and Albert Street at about 12.15am yesterday, Thursday October 17.
Police are still treating the death as unexplained, and the investigation continues.
