VIDEO: Rugby MP in attendance as soldiers granted freedom of the county

Rugby MP Mark Pawsey was one of the dignatories in attendance in Warwick on Friday as the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers was awarded the Freedom of the County.

Soldiers from the Second Battalion paraded through the town with drums beating, colours flying and bayonets fixed before being inspected by HRH The Duke of Kent.

Cllr Brian Moss, chairman of Warwickshire County Council, said: “I am delighted to welcome the Fusiliers to Warwick as we celebrate granting them the freedom of the county.”
