* Live art demonstration featuring well-known local artists - Rose Tea Rooms, Regent Street, 10am to 4pm, admission free

* Rugby Theatre Open Day, with a chance to explore behind the scenes as a performance is prepared for the evening, plus talks and demonstrations - Rugby Theatre, 10am to 4pm, admission free, call (01788) 541324

* CAMRA ale crawl, taking in some of Rugby’s finest pubs - Starts at the Raglan in Dunchurch Road at 1pm, last stop the Victoria Inn in Lower Hillmorton Road at 6.15pm

* Rugby School Tours, offering an opportunity to find out more about a true Rugby institution - Rugby School, 2pm, £6 per person, booking essential on (01788) 556169

* Rococo Players Concert, showcasing Rugby’s leading amateur orchestra - Rugby Methodist church, 7.30pm to 9.30pm, tickets £8 for adults/£6 concessions/£2 children

* Rugby Recorder Ensemble playing a varied concert of recorder music - The Church of St Peter and St John, Clifton Road, 1pm (refreshments available in the hall from 12 noon), free admission
