Windows smashed and three arrested following brawl at Jolly Abbot pub in Hillmorton

Police were called and three people arrested following a brawl at a pub in Hillmorton on Saturday night.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward following the disturbance at the Jolly Abbot in Lower Hillmorton Road on Saturday night.

Police were informed at 10.50pm that violence had broken out at the pub, with the disturbance continuing out on the street.

During the course of the incident at least one of the main windows of the pub was broken when an object was thrown at it.

A number of people inside the public house sustained injuries including cuts from flying glass.

Three people were arrested at the scene - two men aged 20 and 49 and a 19-year-old female.

They were all questioned in relation to the public disorder and have since been released on police bail.

A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: “Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the Jolly Abbot on Saturday evening from about 10.30pm and anyone who outside in the vicinity of the premises who may have information about the disturbance.”
