Christians from across the town will gather in Regent Place on Good Friday before processing around Rugby on a walk of witness.
They will congregate at 9.45am to sing songs and hymns in the Jubilee Gardens in Regent Place. The walk of witness will begin at 10am with an act of worship. Those present will then walk on to Chestnut Fields and up North Street stopping in both places for prayers and readings.
The walk will then continue through the Clock Towers before moving on for a service in the grounds of St Andrew’s Church beginning at 10.40am. The speaker will be the Rector of St Andrew’s, the Rev Imogen Nay. St Andrew’s Church will be open for 30 minutes or so from 11am for hot cross buns and light refreshments.
