Talented young Rugby artists celebrated their achievements at Warwickshire College’s Best of 2013 awards and exhibition last month.
From fine art to furniture, media to music, students were honoured with a range of accolades.
Chris Gould won the Design Achievement Award sponsored by Campbell Marsh Communications Ltd. Chris, from Rugby, studied the Extended Diploma in 3D Design, in which he achieved the highest possible grade . He is continuing to higher education to study Automotive Design. Matthew Glover, from the sponsors, said “As a local creative agency Campbell Marsh was very pleased to sponsor this award. The level of talent on display in the exhibition was very impressive and I’d like to offer my congratulations to all the winners and to everyone else involved in the awards ceremony.”
Fellow Rugby students Hannah Thornicroft and Goshul Rathod also excelled. Hannah won the Music Achievement Award and Goshul picked up the Media Achievement Award, sponsored by Codemasters.
Also honoured were Lorie-Lanie Shanks and her sister Mirie-Marie, who study at the college’s Rugby centre and won the Performing Arts Outstanding Achievement Award sponsored by Storm Entertainments.
