BREAKING NEWS: Appeal to trace missing Rugby man
POLICE are searching for a Rugby man who has not been seen since he left his home at 8.30am yesterday morning (Wednesday).
Michael Rowell, 55, of Rowe Close, Rugby has been receiving treatment for depression and police are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
He had been due to be picked up by ambulance to be taken for further treatment, but left the house before his transport arrived.
Mr Rowell is described as being white male, approximately 6 feet tall and of medium build. He wears spectacles and when last seen was wearing a black polo top with a blue checked shirt underneath and blue jeans. It is believed that he has access to money and police would particularly like to hear from taxi drivers who may have given a lift to a man matching his description, or people using the train or bus who may have seen him.
He did not take a coat with him when he left the house – a factor which adds to the concern for his well being due to the extremely cold weather.
Anyone who has seen Mr Rowell is asked to contact Warwickshire Police on (01926) 415000.
