BREAKING NEWS: Rugby’s Mark Beach named as the new Dean for Rochester Cathedral

TOWN Reverend Mark Beach will be leaving Rugby, it has been announced.

It has been officially announced this morning (Monday) that Rev Beach from St Andrew’s Church in Rugby has been appointed as the new Dean of Rochester Cathedral.

The Right Reverend James Langstaff, Bishop of Rochester said: “I am delighted that Mark has been appointed as the new Dean of Rochester. He comes with wide experience of ministry in various settings within the Church of England. In recent years, he has had a particular involvement in the church’s ministry of community engagement, and that will be very relevant in both cathedral and diocesan settings. I much look forward to welcoming Mark and his family to the Diocese.”

Rev Beach will be installed as Dean in Rochester Cathedral on Sunday, May 20 at 3.15pm.
