Bridge fundraiser is boost for air ambulance
A FUNDRAISING event held at Rugby Bridge Club has helped raise much-needed money to keep the air ambulance where it should be - in the air.
Members collected nearly £520 in aid of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, which is based at Baginton Airport.
The cheque was donated to representaives from the charity, which receives no government funding, by the club’s Chris Malhouse.
It was raised at the Julia Mills One Day Event earlier in the year.
