Burglars target homes in villages around Rugby
HOMES have been targeted by thieves in Dunchurch, Sawbridge, Flecknoe and Princethorpe.
During the night of December 15 and 16 offenders smashed the patio door of a home in Mill Farm Close, Dunchurch.
Wrapped Christmas presents along with two cameras and a watch were stolen.
At some point before 11.40am on December 29 thieves smashed the back doors of a cottage home in Sawbridge and got inside. It is believed that the offenders may have been disturbed as no search was made and nothing was stolen.
Between midnight and 8am on December 30 burglars smashed back doors at a home in Flecknoe, where a TV was stolen.
Between 2pm on December 28 and 1am on 29 December burglars smashed a glass panel in the rear door of a home in Leamington Road, Princethorpe. They made an untidy search before stealing a TV and four laptop computers.
