Christmas and new year Rugby Borough Council services

RUGBY Borough council has announced the following changes to its services over the Christmas and new year period.

Green bin collections will be suspended during week commencing December 24. Blue-lid bins scheduled for collection on Christmas Day will be collected on Saturday December 29, while collections scheduled for Boxing Day will be collected on Sunday December 30. Bins should be ready for collection by 7.30am.

All bins scheduled for collection during week commencing December 31 will be collected on their normal collection day, including on New Year’s Day.

The council offices will close at 5pm on Friday December 21 and reopen at 9am on Thursday December 27. They will be closed on New Year’s Day.

The Art Gallery and Museum and the Visitor Centre will be closed on Christmas Eve and on Sundays and Bank Holidays throughout the Christmas period, but will be open on all other days 10am to 5pm, or 10am to 4pm on Saturdays.
