Crash causes big delays on A14

A collision on the A14 near Rothwell has caused big delays for motorists.

The eastbound carriageway was at a standstill after the two-car crash, which emergency services were called to at about 7.30am this morning (Friday, February 1).

Traffic is reported to be backed up as far as junction three, the Desborough turning, and had been as far back as junction two (Kelmarsh). One lane is currently closed on the road.

Northants Fire and Rescue tweeted at 7.49am it had been called out to the incident in order to make vehicles safe.
