Cyclist taken to hospital after Lawford Road crash in Rugby
Police closed Lawford Road in Rugby this morning after a collision involving a car and a cyclist.
An emergency call was received at around 9.10am to the accident involving a blue VW Passat Estate and a cyclist on Lawford Road, Rugby
According to police, early information indicates that the male cyclist suffered what are believed to be slight injuries to his pelvis, head and hip and he was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further assessment and treatment.
The road was closed and traffic was delayed to allow emergency services to attend the scene.
