Drink driver arrested after being found asleep at the wheel in Overslade

A MAN was arrested in Overslade after police found him asleep at the wheel.

A concerned member of the public called police on Friday to report that they had been travelling behind a car which had several near misses and mounted the kerb a number of times.

Police found the car at the roadside with the driver asleep at the wheel.

The male driver was arrested for drink driving after providing a positive sample of breath.
