Elderly woman distressed after thieves target Clifton home
Two men tricked their way in to the home of an elderly woman in Clifton.
The men got into the house in Robertson Close, Clifton, during the night of January 24 after tricking their way in.
They stole a bag containing cash. Police have said that the woman was very distressed.
In a separate incident, two people got into a house in Coal Pit Lane, Wolvey after smashing two small windows.
They searched the house before the person who lies there returned home and disturbed them. They left in a blue Mercedes van.
This happened just before 1.30pm on Tuesday last week (February 5).
