February half term activities at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum

Rugby Art Gallery and Museum will offer children a packed craft programme during half term.

From this Saturday until Saturday February 23 free drop-in activities include a valentine-themed ‘love heart art’, where children will be able to make a heart shaped decoration for a loved one, and ‘fabulous fabric bowls’, where they can create a unique bowl out of recycled fabric.

Children under five will be able to make mosaic snakes as part the regular monthly little discoveries sessions.

For a small fee, families can attend an artist-led workshop on printmaking or paint and glaze.

The traditional treasure hunt also has a valentine theme: will you be able to find all the hidden love hearts scattered throughout the museum?

Full details are available at www.rugby.gov.uk/smart.
