SPIDERMAN has arrived in Dunchurch for Christmas 2012!

Pranksters struck during the middle of the night over the weekend to transform Lord John Scott into Spiderman.

The prank has been a long running tradition in Dunchurch every Christmas when the statue is dressed up during the dead of night.

In a slight break in tradition, Lord John Scott was dressed up earlier this year when he was transformed as the Queen for the Olympics.

In Christmas 2011 he was dressed as a Smurf.
