Police have made arrests and seizures in two days of 'action' around Rushden.

A MAN who stole a lady’s purse in Iceland on January 21 and then fraudulently used her bank card in the town centre has been jailed for 34 weeks.

Michael Keogh, 32, of Biart Place, has been charged with these offences along with other shoplifting offences.

On appearing in court he was sentenced to 34 weeks in prison, according to Warwickshire Police.
