Man killed in A45 crash in Stretton on Dunsmore
POLICE are investigating a fatal crash near Rugby early this morning (Thursday).
Officers were called to the scene at 4.45am and found a Honda Civic car which had been in collision with a tree.
The male driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was declared dead at the scene.
His details will not be released until the formal identification process has been completed and all close relatives informed.
Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw the car, and the manner in which it was being driven, before the collision occurred.

The A45 was closed, causing major traffic hold ups during morning rush hour.
