Mandy loses locks to help children

Brave Mandy Harris took the decision to have her long hair shaved when she was diagnosed with cancer.
Mandy, pictured above, who works at London Midland Railway Club and Morgan Advanced Ceramics, was told she had the disease last October. She had a head shave at the club for Macmillan Nurses and donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust to provide wigs to children with cancer.
Mandy, of Houston Road, has helped raise £1,755 with help from LMRCA who raised £925, Morgan Advanced Ceramics and family and friends who raised £835.
