Men robbed by gang in Claremont Road, Rugby
Police are looking for a gang of men following a robbery in Rugby.
The robbery happened in Claremont Road, Rugby in the early hours of yesterday morning (Sunday).
Two men were approached by a group of men near the junction of Claremont Road and Clifton Road when they got out of a cab between 4 and 5am.
The two were then attacked by the group. One of the men was thrown into the road after being hit on the head, and the second, who came to his assistance, was also kicked in the head and face.
Both had their mobile phones and money stolen from them.
The men managed to raise the alarm with a friend and they were later taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries.
