STAFF at a Rugby pharmacy have been raising money for a charity close to their hearts.
The Co-operative Pharmacy in Clifton Road organised a sponsored walk around Draycote and held a raffle.
Staff have now raised just over £2,000 which will go to Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity.
Technician Christine Mercer said: “My son Billie has leukaemia and the charity granted him a wish to go to Pinewood Studios in London. They’ve granted lots of wishes for children. It’s a charity which means a lot to us.”
Billie is now in his second year of treatment.
Christine said: “He’s doing really well.”
