New nail salon opens in Rugby town centre

NAIL Express is the latest new business to open its doors in Rugby town centre.

The nail salon, in North Street, opened in December and provides a variety of specialised treatments for nails and feet.

The new premises, located in what used to be a travel agents, has been refurbished.

The owner of the new salon is Lucy Le, a mum of one, who has recently moved to Rugby from Birmingham.

Lucy’s family own and manage over 30 nail saloons across the country and although she has worked in these, this is the first business that she has owned and operated herself.

Lucy said: “I’d previously worked for the family business but this involved a lot of travel. When I became a mum I needed to find something more local so decided to set up my own business in Rugby to give me more flexibility in terms of childcare – so that’s what I did. From a business perspective Rugby offers everything I need and I’m sure the business will be successful.”

Aftab Gaffar, managing director of Rugby First, said: “New businesses continue to open in Rugby Town Centre. Many of these are attracted by Rugby’s central location, along with the clean, safe and welcoming shopping environment the town centre provides. If you are thinking about setting up a new business, and are interested in a town centre location, there are a number of incentives currently available. To find out more please call me on 01788 569 436.”
