Rugby Blockbuster saved from closure for now
BLOCKBUSTER in Rugby will remain open despite going into administration.
It was announced on Saturday that administrators intend to close 129 Blockbuster stores across the country, in addition to the 31 which had already been put on notice of closure.
However administrators confirmed yesterday (Monday) that the Rugby store in Clifton Road was not one that was earmarked for closure at the moment.
Administrators said they were continuing to review the profitability of the store portfolio and announcements of further closures may be made in coming weeks.
