Rugby police arrest two men following motorbike crash

TWO men have been arrested in Rugby for a number of offences.

Police were searching for a motorbike which had been stolen in Overslade in the early hours of Friday morning.

The motorbike had been seen several times throughout the day being driven around Overslade and the footpaths between Alfred Green Close and Wentworth Road.

It was then seen by officers with two people on it riding on a public footpath with no lights. They refused to stop when ordered to do so by police.

Two men were arrested near Hibbert Close for theft of a motorcycle, crimina damage, driving offences and possession of illegal drugs.

Witnesses or anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting incident number 308-11/01/2013.
