Snowy thumbs up from children who made it to school in Princethorpe
PRINCETHORPE College pupils braved the snow to carry on learning as usual today (Monday).
Despite the recent snow fall lessons are continuing at the school in Leamington Road with teachers applauding the calm learning atmosphere.
Assistant Head Alex Darkes said: “It important that we uphold an element of continuity where possible. Parents have been very supportive of our decision to remain open. We want to try to avoid the double whammy of pupils’ learning being interrupted as well as parents being confronted with additional child care problems.”
Princethorpe families showed initiative and collaboration when mustering forces to get their children to school from many rural surrounding areas.
The school said that with examinations being held it was a really a matter of keeping calm and carrying on the learning.
