Teenager charged with Rugby burglary in Pinfold Street
POLICE have charged a 16-year-old boy with burglary following a break-in at a house in Pinfold Street, Rugby.
The burglary happened overnight between November 21 and 22 in Pinfold Street where a mother and her young child were asleep in the house at the time.
The suspect was arrested from an address in Newbold in Rugby within hours of the burglary, after officers executed a warrant at the address. A number of items, believed to be stolen property were also recovered form the address.
He was questioned in connection with the burglary and initially bailed pending further police enquiries, but was charged with burglary when he returned to answer police bail at Nuneaton Police Station on December 18.
The 16-year-old has been charged to appear before Leamington Youth Court on 15 January 2013.
