Teenager charged with street robbery in Chapel Street, Rugby

POLICE have charged a 16-year-old boy with robbery following an incident in Chapel Street, Rugby just before 6.45pm last night (Wednesday).

A Blackberry Curve mobile phone belonging to an 18-year-old man was stolen in the robbery, which took place near to ASDA in Rugby. The phone was later found.

The 16-year-old boy has been charged with robbery and released on bail to appear before the youth court in Leamington.

PC Zoe Hamilton from the Nuneaton Local Investigation team would like to hear from anyone who saw the robbery.
