World’s oldest jet touches down in Coventry

A LEGENDARY Gloster Meteor T7 touched down at Coventry Airport this week.

Following a half-million pound renovation the model, which will now be based in Coventry, was built in 1949 and joins 30 other iconic aircraft at the Airbase attraction at Coventry Airport.
