Lorry driver who died in last week’s M6 collision named by police

A man who died in a collision on the M6 last week has been identified by police.

Martin Buzoianu, aged 47, of Kidsgrove in Stoke on Trent died when the lorry he was driving was involved in a collision with another lorry and two cars on the southbound carriageway of the M6 on Thursday, September 29.

Officers are still investigating the collision and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw any of the vehicles, and the manner in which they were being driven, before it occurred.

The renewed police appeal comes after another fatal collision occurred between two vans on the M6 this morning (Tuesday).
