A MAN has been taken to hospital after the car he was travelling in left the road and rolled over in Brinklow.
The accident happened on the Coventry Road in Brinklow just before 7am on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: ”The car was on a grass verge and had suffered significant roof and drivers side damage after reportedly rolling over.
“The driver of the car, a 49 year old man, was trapped in the vehicle due to the damage and had suffered a head injury and suspected fractured ribs.”
Emergency services rescued the man from the car by removing the roof and doors.
He was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire by ambulance.
