YOUNGSTERS made the most of the bank holiday weekend with plenty of fun and games at a Newbold pub.
The Barley Mow in Main Street, Newbold, hosted a day of family fun on Monday for the community.
Activities included a bouncy castle, pony rides, a clown, arts and crafts sessions, barbecue, live music, Maypole dancing and a raffle.
Staff at the pub said that despite the rain, all of the fun and games were still able to go ahead and that everyone had a great time.
The fun day was held to raise money for the construction fund at St Botolph’s Church in Newbold.
It raised around £500 for the fund.
