Cadman Homes of Castle Street in Rugby has not been short of reasons to celebrate in May, with the company celebrating its fourth year of trading, being shortlisted in three categories at this year’s Rugby Business Awards and the launch of its second office, based in the heart of Coventry city centre.

The family-owned and operated firm has gone from strength to strength over the four years it has been trading, having set up during the recession in 2008.

“From humble beginnings we have grown organically and built a strong reputation within the Rugby area” said Valerie Cadman–Jones, the founder of the company.

“We are proud of our expansion from lettings into sales, and have built the reputation of the firm step by step to ensure that we offer services the people of Rugby want, at a price that offers great value. The company is a child of the recession and we want to offer great value for money and a service that exceeds the competition.”

The company offers a seven-days-a-week service, from 8 ’til late and are the only agent in town to offer a 24/7 phone line, perfect for anyone who is busy during the working day.

“This commitment to our customers has brought us many referrals from delighted vendors, landlords, buyers and tenants,” said Adam McHenry, head of sales.

“We offer services like our ‘Sell your house for 1 per cent+VAT’ promise, and people are genuinely impressed that we can offer a ‘prestige’ or ‘premium’ marketing package for this price – and still deliver results. We currently have 66 per cent of the properties on our books sold subject to contract (rightmove.co.uk data May 2012) which is the highest percentage of any agent in the town.”

With many other innovative ideas such as its new Sale Ready Pack, which speeds up the buying and selling process (as a seller’s solicitor has already done a lot of the legal preparation for the sale at the time the property goes onto the market), the company is looking forward to continued growth over the next year. Their success is expressed by being shortlisted for Innovator of the year, Employee of the year (Adam McHenry) and Small business of the year at this year’s Rugby Business Awards, and marked by the opening of a second office, in Coventry city centre.

“The launch of our Coventry office is in response to the growing levels of business we have experienced in the villages between Rugby and Coventry and in the city centre itself,” says Mathew Cadman–Jones, Valerie’s son and head of lettings.

“We are very excited about the launch of the office, and will of course offer great deals to sellers and landlords that have property in the Coventry area.”

The team would welcome inquiries from people with property to sell or rent in Coventry. They are still going to honour the ‘Sell your home for 1 per cent+VAT’ promise in Coventry and will be offering several other incentives for landlords and sellers.

The company believes that people still want to see value for money from estate agents in these difficult time and can be contacted via the Rugby office in Castle Street or at 3 The Quadrant, Warwick Road, Coventry on 024 7622 2262. Alternatively you can email Coventry@cadmanhomes.co.uk
