A MARTIAL arts centre welcomed special guests, the mayor and members to its new home in Rugby.

G-Force Martial Arts has recently relocated to bigger and better premises in Wood Street and to mark the occasion the centre hosted a special open day which was opened by the mayor, Cllr Don Williams, on Saturday.

Other special guests included grand master Danny Guba who is the highest-ranked Fillipino martial artist in Europe and Alfie Lewis, the founder of freestyle sport karate and five-time world kickboxing champion.

Throughout the day there were demonstrations, workshops and tasters sessions for anyone interested in joining the club.
