MEN and women can now register to take part in the 2012 Moonlight Walk for Myton Hospice.

The eight-mile walk will begin at 9pm on Saturday, September 15 at Warwick Castle.

This year there has been a significant change meaning that men can now enter the event but on the condition that they dress up as a woman.

Events manager Charlotte Ingram said: “This year we are hoping to make the walk our best yet and really want lots of local ladies and guys to get behind us and enjoy our ‘girls night out’ and raise money for Myton.

“It will be a fantastic evening and it is always very inspiring to see hundreds of people getting together and walking through Warwick and Leamington in their bunny ears and pyjamas and party outfits – to have the addition of men being able to join in this year should be fantastic fun all around.”

This year marks the 30th anniversary of The Myton Hospices and The Moonlight Walk. It raises thousands for the hospices, including the one in Barby Road, Rugby. Call (01926) 838837 or visit mytonhospice.org.
